Voyage Log 24th August PLEASE NOTE THAT JOHN'S EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED The Chagazee and her crew have successfully crossed the bay of Biscay and are now in Peniche harbour in south west Portugal, just north of Lisbon. The Chagazee has proved herself seaworthy but tends to roll a bit more than expected making life fun in the Atlantic Waters! This hasn't proved a problem though and they are just 80 miles from turning the corner into the calmer waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Pictures of the voyage will be added soon 4th September The Chagazee has now safely arrived in Gibraltar and the calmer waters of the Mediterranean are now in front of her. After the heavy swells of the Atlantic this is a great relief! John and Neil are both in good spirits (and still getting on well!) and looking forward to a few days in port to carry out some essential repairs. There will be some pictures of the voyage as soon as Johnny works out how to email them! |
